If you are a vegetarian or vegan you’ll have a hard time finding a place for you in Split in 2019., but if you are persistent, it can be done, there are a few nice places, hidden a bit within the city. So let’s take a look at them.

First and foremost we have to mention UpCaffe, it’s without a doubt the best option, very popular with the locals as well as the tourist. It even has a delivery service that you can use. It’s a bit remote from the city centre, 15 minutes on foot from the Diocletian’s palace, but worth the walk. Bear in mind, they only accept cash (that means Kuna only).

Another one worth mentioning would be Marta’s Veggie Fusion, although quite new, it has quickly made a good name for itself, located in the centre of the Palace, even on its main road, you can’t really miss it. Great if you want a healthy quick snack while roaming the city centre.

Third on this list would be Vege Fast Food, a fast food establishment that does only vegetarian and vegan dishes. Located near the main bus station in the city centre., it Has been open now for 7-8 years, so they have a fair amount experience and because of that some very nice snacks.

Some other options would be Food Factory – Art of raw and Pandora Greenbox, but both of these were recently open, so can’t really say if they are worth your time or your money.

There are many other establishments that offer vegetarian (and vegan) dishes among other thingS, let’s mention a few: Ma-Toni, Daddy Cool, Toto’s burger bar, To je Tako, Corto Maltese Freestyle Food, Perivoj and the list goes on and on. I’m sure you’ll find some nice spots in my beautiful city at the end of the day. If you need some specific information, don’t hesitate to contact us via email. But we do hope this list helps.
